Margene

Margene is a teen girl from The New Fat Albert Show. Her sole appearance is in the season 5 episodes, "In My Merry Busmobile" and "Poll Time". She is a classmate to the gang and particularly close friends with Fat Albert.

Appearance

Margene is caucasian with short blonde hair. She is above average in height. She wears a white long-sleeved shirt with brown slacks and white sneakers.

"Poll Time"

During events leading up to the student council elections at school, Margene begins to show her frustration when the two main candidates, Hugo (a black) and Baron (a caucasian), begin running solely on platforms of racism, each one believing that people should vote for them because of the color of their skin. Fat Albert sympathizes with Margene's thoughts and comes up with an idea: the two agree to join forces and run for co-president of the student council; they base their platform on the actual school issues, particularly stronger student representation; Fat Albert and Margene wind up winning the election.
