Special Characters[]
Nolan[]
He is played by Gary Moore. He only appears in "Hey, Hey, Hey, It's Fat Albert", he's dark-skinned, has a grayish shirt with the number 2 on it, blue jeans, black and white sneakers, and a beanie over his head with eye holes cut out to see. He tells the others not to kick, drop, or throw his football, but they don't care as they need it for their championship against the Green Street Terrors. He's based on a kid Cosby knew who would wear a beanie over his head and cut out circles to see, he would also wipe his nose from time to time because his nose is runny in the winter.
Weasel[]
He is played by Alvin Hillard. Like Nolan, he only appears in "Hey, Hey, Hey, It's Fat Albert", he's dark-skinned, has short black hair, a black hat, a turtleneck sweater with red and white stripes, green pants, black boots, and "the look of a rodent face", despite looking normal like the rest of the cast. He insists that he and the others should practice whether Fat Albert is on the team or not, tells Nolan that they should kick him and drop him instead, teases Nolan by trying to take his beanie, and cheers about being "The championships of the entire world!".
Green Street Terrors[]
The rival team challenges the Cosby kids to the football championship game in the world. After demolishing and taunting them, they're the ones who get destroyed once Fat Albert comes to the field, causing them to forfeit while they still can. Their leader is short, the same height as Russell, with short black hair, wears a black coat, black and white shoes, and skin so dark you can barely see his face. The same goes for his taller teammates, who wear white football helmets, gray pants, black and white shoes, and white football uniforms with a big green T on them. They're kind of similar to The Three River Blockbusters, as they taunt the Junkyard Gang and challenge them to championship games.

Naomi and Rosemary[]
Two girls who have an interest in Bill and Russell respectively. They're both African American, one has pigtails and a combination of a jacket and a dress, and the other has curly hair with a bow tie on top, blue gloves, and a pink jacket with a blue dress underneath. It’s unknown which ones which though.
Cut Characters[]
Saddle[]
A character who never had a physical appearance is described as having a dip in the center of his head. It's interesting to think what would've looked like if he appeared.
"Crosby"[]
It's the only drawing we have of him.
In an article about the special and how it was made, they featured a drawing about a kid named "Crosby" who didn't make it in the special. This could be about Bill since Crosby sounds like Cosby, or it could be Weasel as they both have the striped shirt and a similar styled hat.

Before the designs were finalized, some artists interpreted the Cosby Kids, later known as the Junkyard Gang.
Leo Sullivan[]

This group of kids features a fat kid (Presumably Fat Albert), a tall kid (Presumably Weird Harold), one with glasses, one with a tall hat, and the other that shows some hair on his head. Judging by the sketches and clothing, it seems that the special was going to be about a snowball fight but was changed into an American football game.
"COOL-was-everything"
The other one is titled "COOL-was-everything". This one also features a fat kid who resembles Fat Albert, one who's tall (Weird Harold?), a short kid (Russell?), one with a hat over his head (Presumably Dumb Donald), and one with a questionable hat (Bill?).
Len Rogers[]

This group features a tall, lanky kid who resembles Weird Harold, a girl, a dog, a fat kid (Fat Albert?), one with a cap over his head (Dumb Donald?), and a kid with earmuffs (Bill?). This one also features more winter clothing and a snowball in hand.
